It’s 2022, and the Monster is awakening… This January marks the very beginning of our journey from sea to shore.

As members of our community, you can follow SEE MONSTER’s voyage right here, as we keep you up to date with milestone moments along the way.

SEE MONSTER will rehabilitate and reimagine a decommissioned North Sea offshore platform in Weston-super-Mare, transforming the retired industrial structure into a large-scale public art installation.

After completing the voyage to the west coast of the UK, the Monster will come to life this summer, and will stay open for eight unmissable weeks.

The first sightings of SEE MONSTER have been released on our social media channels.

Hulking in weight and towering in height, the Monster has spent much of its life in the cold North Sea, battling the wind and waves in a hostile offshore environment. When we bring this colossal beast to its new home on the shores of the UK, we’ll be attempting something that has never been done before.
